Admit it, you’ve caught yourself humming the Spice Girls.

If you have a love of singing and an obsession with all things Brit (or if you just happen to live near the Lower East Side), this is the place for you. Our first adult choir, Britpop was founded in 2012 to blend intricate harmonies with a bonding experience and a bloody good time. (Excuse the language, but you do have to be 18 to join.)

Today, there are 50 or so of us rocking everything from classics by Bowie to indies by Massive Attack and Blur, to whatever Adele is doing at any given moment. We’re not afraid to tackle Elastica, or take ourselves to Rehab (the song. We promise not to drive you to drink). Basically, if it’s well-known and properly Brit, a little bit challenging and a lot of fun, we’re on it.

So whether you’re a pro or just fancy you're Beyoncé in the shower—there’s no audition to join—Britpop is the perfect place to excise those Spice Girl demons.
